About Gianni

Greetings to all, my name is Gianni, I was born in Nice on the Promenade des Anglais and raised in Pan Bagnat and Socca. I have been a Certified tour guide since 2019.

I’ve always been a seasonal . I live in Nice in the summer to make you discover the beautiful region of the Maritime Alps and in the winter I move to the mountains in the Val d’Allos to go work in an altitude snack bar, the “Altiplano Altitude”.

Between Nice and a ski resort I have always been immersed in tourism and I have always liked to travel since I was a child thanks to my parents who made me discover a good part of the world.

I like road trips in backpacker or van mode, and especially trips that last a long time to soak up the local culture and get a complete change of scenery.

I am a geek, I am passionate about extreme sports like skiing, sailing, canyoning, surfing and many more.

I have also been a blacksmith amateur for a long time. I love crafts, woodworking and the art of forging, but also astronomy.

I chose to become a guide thanks to my years of study. I discovered that I could not sit behind a desk (unless it is for gaming) I had to spend time by myself. Certified tour guide is a profession that allows me to move and in addition to exercising one of my passions, travel.

So I did a professional license as a Certified tour guide in order to obtain my professional card and become a Certified tour guide appointed by the Ministries in charge of Tourism and Culture.

The countries I would like to visit at any cost: Japan, Iceland, Finland, New Zealand, Canada, Reunion Island, Peru, Polynesia

My favorite cities in the world: Chiang Mai, Bergen, Dublin, Fort Worth, Miami Beach, Havana, Key West, San Francisco, Longyearbyen, Saint Malo, Annecy, Nice

My experience as a Certified Tour Guide?

In the world of work since 2019, my professional activity has been somewhat slowed down by Covid 19, but despite this setback I managed to make many visits to Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, and Villefranche.

I also benefit from an experience in intimate cruises with the agency Plein Cap Cruise where I could make excursions as a guide in many destinations in Corsica, Sardinia, Iceland, Norway and Svalbard.

As a Certified Tour Guide I would be delighted to make you discover the historical, artistic, culinary heritage and traditions of the region, by offering you guided tours.
